What should your socks be made from?

At Soxfords, we prefer socks made out of Peruvian Pima cotton, which is considered by many to be the finest cotton in the world. Pima costs a premium, but from experience with testing a variety of blends, we can honestly say that it is softer, more durable, and simply wears better than anything else we tried, which is why we chose to use Pima in our "Signature" line of Soxfords.

A slight bit of added elastic (1-3%), will give a little extra stretch for added comfort.  If you really want to geek out on your socks, you can also check for a cotton blend featuring "60/2" yarn, where two fine yarns are spun into a single, thicker, yarn of higher quality than single-spun yarn.
