What happens when I place an order?
Wondering what happens to your package once you place an order? A little behind-the-scenes for you…
First of all, we dance.
Seriously. Soxfords is the result of some truly dedicated effort, and we really love to see our work being appreciated through your order!
Next we come to our senses (we actually don't dance well), and then work on bagging, tagging, and recording your order into our systems. The very next day we drive down to our local Post Office, hand off your package (and hopefully other packag-es!), and saunter out the door with our hands in our pockets, whistling an annoyingly catchy tune.

OK, I lied about the dancing and whistling - that's just silly. But we do appreciate each and every order that comes through our system, and we work very hard at making certain you get what you asked for. If you don‘t, or are in anyway disappointed with what you receive, please email us orders@soxfords.com.

How are my items shipped?
Most of our items are shipped with USPS First Class Mail a day or two after we receive them (except for Saturdays). That means you should receive your package within 3–5 business days after shipping for most orders. We will issue you a tracking number once we have sent out your package. While you will receive the tracking number immediately, that does not mean you will be able to track your package immediately. You must wait until your package is scanned in by the Postal Service.
Need faster shipping? No problem! Just contact us prior to your order and we can add the additional fees for expedited or overnight shipping.
How much is shipping going to cost?
We kept things simple. We offer standard first-class USPS shipping for all orders heading to destinations within the United States (free on select orders). We also offer Priority (US domestic) mail shipping options at rates dependent on the order value and weight. International shipping is also available, and calculated by weight at the time of checkout.
Information on Sales Tax
You might find sales tax was added to your order - what's with that!? Well we're required to collect sales taxes from customers who live within certain states. Our sales engine calculates all this for us, so rest assured it's being handled correctly!
Do you ship internationally?
We do! If you find yourself outside of the United States and need a Soxfords fix, we've got you covered.
All international packages are sent via USPS and will typically be delivered within two weeks, but can take up to a full month depending on where you are located. All international packages are trackable once they are scanned in by the postman until they leave a US port, but the USPS generally does not report on location outside of the United States. Please rest assured that the items are on their way - but if it has been longer than 20 business days since you have placed your order just let us know. We cannot offer refunds for problems with the postal service, but we will help as best we can!
For international orders, please keep in mind that there may be local taxes applied based on the value of your order. These will vary depending on your location, so please check before ordering if this is a concern.
Need your order shipped overseas faster? Please contact us and let us know in advance, and we can work on securing a faster shipping method for you. Please keep in mind that it can cost as much as $50 (or much more!) to ship via international priority, so please factor that cost into the total price of the order.
